St. Louis City SC's men's soccer team has announced the signing of five new players for the 2026 season. The newcomers are Braden Benyr, Anden Ellis, Jaden Hancock, Alec Sexton, and Hudson Sullivan. These five new players will join the team's roster for the upcoming season. Benyr, a midfielder, played his freshman season at Saint Louis University and was co-captain of his Saint Louis City SC MLS Next u18 side. Ellis, a defender, was part of an SMU side that finished the 2025 season 11-5-4 and won the ACC Tournament. Hancock, a midfielder, competed at El Camino College (California) where he earned All-America Second Team and Scholar All-America Honors from United Soccer Coaches. Sexton, a midfielder, played for Baltimore Armour. Sullivan, a midfielder, played for the club team. The team's head coach, Ian Sarachan, stated that the new players will bring a lot of experience and talent to the team. He also mentioned that the team will help the players to grow not only as athletes but also as students and people. The players are excited to join the team and are looking forward to the upcoming season.
